During this half term (Autumn 2nd Half), Year 4 has been busy evaluating, designing, and making games that include an electrical circuit. As part of their learning, the children evaluated the game 'operation', exploring how the game works and developing their ideas for designing and making their own game. The children have developed a range of DT knowledge and applied their science knowledge about circuits. They carried out research and practiced making circuits with buzzers and switches. They chose and used a range of materials to make their game look aesthetically pleasing for their intended audience. Year 4 showcased their work to parents and family members and discussed the design and construction process. They evaluated their learning and the learning of others in the class.
